Continues the existence and functioning of the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering until October 1, 2020, pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law.

Preserves Sections 34-7B-1 to 34-7B-29 of the Code of Alabama 1975, which establish and govern the Board.

Implements the Alabama Sunset Committee's recommendation to continue the agency rather than terminate or modify it.

The Legislature concurs with and adopts the Sunset Committee's recommendations regarding the Board's continuation.

The act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
