Amends Section 45-30A-50.03 of the Code of Alabama 1975 regarding the City of Russellville's civil service board organization and compensation.

Changes board member salary from a fixed amount of $200 per month to "a salary as set by the city council" for their services.

Civil service board continues to consist of five city resident members appointed by the governing body, with staggered term lengths of 2, 4, and 6 years.

Board members remain entitled to reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in performance of board business, paid from the city's general fund.

Act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and Governor approval, or upon otherwise becoming law.
