Continues the existence and functioning of the State Pilotage Commission until October 1, 2018, pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law.

Preserves Sections 33-4-1 to 33-4-57 of the Code of Alabama 1975, which establish and govern the State Pilotage Commission.

Implements the Sunset Committee's recommendation to continue rather than terminate the State Pilotage Commission after its periodic review.

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law.
