AL SB426

Authorizes state agencies, municipalities, counties, and other political subdivisions (including school boards) to display the national motto "In God We Trust" in or on any public building or public school in Alabama.

Applies notwithstanding any other provision of law, overriding existing restrictions on such displays.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
