Repeals Sections 9, 10, and 11 of Act 85-546 from the 1985 Regular Session, which established an additional circuit judgeship in the 29th Judicial Circuit.

Amends Section 12-17-20 of the Alabama Code to reduce the number of circuit judges in the 29th Judicial Circuit from three to two judges.

Eliminates a judgeship position that had been repeatedly delayed since its creation in 1985 and was scheduled to be filled in 2016 under existing law.

Takes effect on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
