Mourns the death of Jerry Wayne Studdard of Talladega County, Alabama, who passed away on February 21, 2016, at age 73.

Recognizes Studdard's 34 years of law enforcement service beginning as a jailer in 1968, serving as deputy sheriff and investigator with the Alabama Beverage Control Board before being elected Sheriff of Talladega County in 1978.

Notes Studdard retired in 2013 after nine terms and is one of the longest serving sheriffs in Alabama history.

Survived by four children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four sisters.
