• Celebrates the life and legacy of Howard Richard Gamble, DMD, FAGD, FICD, FACD, who passed away on December 25, 2015.

• Recognizes Gamble's career as an exceptional dentist who taught fellow practitioners about incorporating computers into their practices and served as National Speaker of the House of Delegates for two terms before becoming the only Alabamian elected as National AGD President.

• Acknowledges Gamble's public service as Mayor, Police and Fire Commissioner, City Councilman, and Colbert County Commissioner for Sheffield, Alabama.

• Honors his family including his wife of 47 years Sherry, daughter Allison McWilliams, son Wesley Gamble, and four grandchildren.

• Adopted by the Alabama Legislature on February 17, 2016 (Senate) and February 23, 2016 (House) to express gratitude for his life and extend sympathy to his family and friends.
