Commends Caitlin McTier of Sylacauga, Alabama for receiving the 2016 Prudential Spirit of Community Award, presented by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Recognizes McTier's volunteer service, including creation of "Caitlin's Cubby," a hunger prevention program partnering with Alabama Childhood Food Solutions that provides students with backpacks filled with food for weekends.

Notes that McTier raised $5,000 to purchase backpacks for the program and is raising awareness about hunger issues in Alabama and throughout America.

Acknowledges McTier as a junior at Sylacauga High School whose dedication and volunteer service exemplify the talents young people can dedicate to serving their communities.
