Commends Senator Hank Sanders for publishing 1,500 consecutive weekly Senate Sketches in the Greene County Democrat since April 29, 1987

Acknowledges that Sanders has maintained this publication schedule for 29 years without interruption despite trials, sickness, surgery, legislative sessions, and technological limitations

Recognizes that Senate Sketches provide an insider's view of Alabama legislative life covering topics including politics, law, culture, history, personal experiences, and observations on birth and death

Notes that while other newspapers, publications, and social media have republished selected sketches, only the Greene County Democrat has published all 1,500 sketches in their entirety

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Senator Sanders as a token of esteem with hope that his publications continue into the future
