Applies only to Houston County and provides an annual expense allowance of $15,000 to the Revenue Commissioner, payable in equal monthly installments starting the first day of the month following the act's effective date.

Establishes an annual salary of $92,035.27 for the Revenue Commissioner effective with the next term of office, to be paid in the same manner as other elected county officials.

The $15,000 expense allowance becomes null and void upon the next term of office, with the $92,035.27 salary serving as total compensation excluding reimbursement for allowable expenses.

Revenue Commissioner remains eligible to receive any cost-of-living or other salary increases granted by the county commission to other elected officials in the county.

Repeals Section 45-35-241 of the Code of Alabama 1975 relating to the revenue commissioner's salary, and becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
