Students in public schools under local boards of education and nonpublic schools may use sunscreen at school regardless of any other law or regulation.

No rules from the State Board of Education or State Board of Nursing shall apply to student sunscreen use at public or nonpublic schools.

Local boards of education, nonpublic school governing bodies, and their employees and agents are immune from liability for any action or inaction related to sunscreen use under this act.

The act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
