Provides civil immunity to uncompensated volunteers who provide temporary care for individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses under the direction of a primary home caregiver.

Protects volunteers from liability for civil damages resulting from acts or omissions in rendering care, or failure to provide or arrange for care, when performed in good faith.

Exempts immunity protection if damages result from willful or wanton misconduct by the volunteer caregiver.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
