Authorizes Briarwood Presbyterian Church's Board of Trustees to appoint and employ one or more persons as police officers to protect the church's safety and integrity.

Requires all police officers employed by the church to be certified by the Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission and meet all its requirements, including continuing education.

Invests church-employed police officers with all duties and powers of law enforcement officers in the state.

Restricts the authority of church-employed police officers to Briarwood Presbyterian Church's campuses and properties only.

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
