Extends the supplemental privilege assessment and monthly surcharge on nursing facility beds from August 31, 2017, to August 31, 2018.

Maintains the supplemental privilege assessment rate of $1,603.08 annually per bed (from September 1, 2011, onward) with a monthly surcharge of $43.75 per licensed bed.

Extends the secondary supplemental privilege assessment at $401.28 annually per bed from October 1, 2015, through August 31, 2018.

Requires the Alabama Medicaid Agency to include assessed amounts as allowable costs in nursing facility reimbursement methodology and adjust per diem rates accordingly.

Extends the requirement that the Medicaid nursing facility program continue to be administered directly by the Alabama Medicaid Agency until at least October 1, 2018.
