Requires all future concealed pistol permits issued in Alabama to contain a color, laminated identification photograph of the permittee affixed to the permit.

Permits sheriffs to reasonably adjust fees commensurate with the production costs of concealed pistol permits under this section.

Permits must be generated in electronic or digital form prescribed by the Secretary of State in consultation with the Alabama Sheriff's Association and include the permittee's color identification photograph, name, address, description, and signature.

Persons holding valid concealed pistol permits on the effective date of this act must obtain a permit containing a laminated identification photograph upon expiration of their currently held permit.

The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
