Repeals Section 29-7-14 and Article 1 of Chapter 27 of Title 41 (Sections 41-27-1 to 41-27-9) of the Code of Alabama 1975, which created the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

Returns all law enforcement functions, powers, authority, duties, jurisdiction, books, records, funds, equipment, and personnel of ALEA to the original offices, departments, divisions, and agencies from which they were consolidated on January 1, 2015.

Establishes a one-year transition period from the effective date for implementing the transfers, after which ALEA is abolished and the original entities resume functioning as they did before January 1, 2015.

Directs the Code Commissioner to conform all references in the Code of Alabama 1975 from ALEA to the original state units, departments, divisions, and entities as they existed before the consolidation.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
