• Removes the exemption that allows out-of-state licensed prosthetists, orthotists, and pedorthists to perform services in Alabama for up to 60 days per 12-month period after board notification.

• Adds a new exemption permitting out-of-state certified or licensed clinicians to provide services at Alabama Prosthetic & Orthotic Association (APOA) meetings, similar organizations, or board-approved training events.

• Amends Section 34-25A-5 of the Alabama Code of 1975 governing the Board of Prosthetists and Orthotists.

• Takes effect on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
