Repeals Section 13A-6-83 of the Code of Alabama 1975, which provided paid administrative leave and discipline procedures for school employees charged with certain sexual offenses against students.

Consolidates employee discipline procedures under the Students First Act of 2011, which establishes due process procedures for discipline and termination of public K-12 teachers and employees.

Removes conflicting procedures that previously applied specifically to school employees charged with sexual crimes against students.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
