Amends Section 16-40A-2 of the Alabama Code to revise sexual health education curriculum in public schools to align with current data, science, and law.

Replaces outdated terminology with current medical language, changing "sexually transmitted diseases" to "sexually transmitted infections" and "AIDS" to "HIV" throughout the statute.

Requires course materials on sexual health education to be age-appropriate, medically accurate, and culturally appropriate.

Removes language stating that "homosexuality is not a lifestyle acceptable to the general public and that homosexual conduct is a criminal offense," eliminating this element from required curriculum content.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
