Colbert County Revenue Commissioner receives an additional $5,000 per annum expense allowance, payable in equal bimonthly installments from the county's General Fund.

Beginning with the next term of office, the Revenue Commissioner's annual salary increases by $5,000, which replaces and nullifies the expense allowance provided in Section 1.

Revenue Commissioner continues to receive any cost-of-living or other salary increases granted by the Colbert County Commission to other elected officials in the county.

Provisions are retroactive to October 1, 1997, and all salary supplements and expense allowances paid from the County Treasury since that date are ratified and confirmed.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
