• The annexed territory includes land along Snake Road and the Lucy Branch Embayment area of Wheeler Lake, with boundaries defined by detailed survey coordinates and natural features including two floating barges used as breakwaters.

• A map showing the proposed annexed territory is filed in the office of the Judge of Probate in Limestone County and is open for public inspection.

• Police jurisdiction of the City of Athens is not extended beyond the new corporate limits established by this act.
