Increase the Winston County coroner's annual salary by $9,500 per year, effective beginning the coroner's next term of office.

Salary increase shall be paid in the same manner as the coroner's current salary.

Effectiveness is contingent upon approval by a majority of qualified Winston County voters in a referendum to be held in conjunction with the next regularly scheduled state or local election.

Winston County shall pay all costs and expenses related to the election that are not reimbursed by a governmental agency.

If voters approve the measure, the act becomes effective immediately; if rejected, the act is repealed and has no further effect, with the Judge of Probate certifying results to the Secretary of State.
