Commends Mr. Stanley K. Hammack for 41 years of service to the University of South Alabama in various leadership positions in academic medicine and healthcare administration.

Recognizes his career progression from pharmacist at USA Medical Center in 1975 to Director of Materials Management, Hospital Administrator of Knollwood Park Hospital, and most recently Vice President for USA Health Systems.

Acknowledges his significant contributions to managing state Medicaid funding issues, improving patient access through Alabama's Medicaid Waiver Program and Children's Health Insurance Program, and service on local, regional, and national healthcare boards.

Notes his receipt of the American Hospital Association's Grassroots Champion Award and the 2009 Gold Medal of Excellence from the Alabama Hospital Association.

Expresses appreciation for his leadership in developing regional care organizations across Alabama and his work with the Gulf Coast Regional Care Organization, and wishes him and his wife Brenda the best upon his retirement.
