Commends the 2017 Robertsdale High School Navy JROTC Academic Team for advancing to the finals of the 2017 Navy JROTC Academic Bowl Championship for the second consecutive year, with only eight teams nationwide advancing.

Team will compete in June at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and will experience college campus life, meet with leaders and dignitaries, and tour the nation's capital.

Over 100 Navy JROTC academic teams competed in preliminary rounds testing knowledge of JROTC curriculum, English, math, and science to prepare students for graduation and college entrance exams.

Names the six team members (Ren Magtanong, Emyle Mann, Conner Smith, Sierra Gardner, Austin Skains, and Laighton Mitchell) and identifies Lieutenant Colonel Scott Meehan as the JROTC Commander and Petty Officer Edward Theodoro and his wife Mitzi as team chaperones.
