Commends Julie Matranga Neidhardt of Mobile for receiving the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching in 2014 for Elementary Science.

Recognizes Mrs. Neidhardt's educational credentials including a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Alabama, Master of Arts Degree from Spring Hill College, and Certification in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama.

Acknowledges her 19 years of service in the Mobile County Public School System and memberships in the National Science Teachers Association, National Education Association, Alabama Education Association, and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

Notes additional honors including Teacher of the Year at Hutchens Elementary in 2009, participation as a Sally Ride Science Trainer, and service on the State Textbook Committee for College and Career Ready Standards for Science.
