Alabama Legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention limited to proposing a constitutional amendment restricting the number of terms for U.S. House and Senate members.

Alabama Secretary of State directed to transmit copies of the resolution to the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Senate President, Alabama's Congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislative houses.

Resolution counts as application covering the same subject matter as other states' applications for congressional term limits and will be combined with those applications to reach the two-thirds state threshold required by Article V.

Resolution constitutes a continuing application that remains in effect until legislatures of at least two-thirds of states submit applications on the same subject.

Application explicitly excludes combination with applications on any other subject matter besides congressional term limits.
