Commends Representative Alvin Holmes for his distinguished service to Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, recognizing him as a "Lifetime Member" of the organization.

Acknowledges Kappa Alpha Psi's founding on January 5, 1911, at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, by ten reverend founders dedicated to serving college men regardless of color, religion, or national origin.

Recognizes Representative Holmes' educational credentials including a Bachelor of Science, Master of Education, and Master of Arts from Alabama State University, an OIC from the University of Pennsylvania, and an LLD from Jones School of Law.

Notes Representative Holmes has served in the Alabama House of Representatives from the 78th District since 1974 and is active in the Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church, State Democratic Executive Committee, Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Montgomery Improvement Association, and NAACP.
