• Establishes the Alabama Task Force to Combat Curbstoning to address illegal sales of used motor vehicles by unlicensed dealers who evade state and local regulations.

• Task force composed of 9 members including the Director of Motor Vehicle Division (chair), representatives from automobile dealer associations, banking/credit union associations, tax administrators, Attorney General's Consumer Interest Office, and appointees from legislative leadership and motor vehicle industry.

• Task force members receive no compensation and membership shall reflect the state's racial, gender, geographic, urban, rural, and economic diversity.

• Task force must research curbstoning issues, examine motor vehicle licensing laws from other states, and draft recommendations for potential legislative changes to the Code of Alabama 1975 by December 1, 2017.
