Recognizes the Huntsville Area Chapter of the Spelman College National Alumnae Association on its 30th anniversary, organized in October 1987 and officially chartered in 1988.

Names the 12 charter members including Wyndolyn D. Fuqua, Rosa M. Kilpatrick, Willie Mae Butler, and others, with Rosa M. Kilpatrick serving as the first president.

Documents the chapter's accomplishments including supporting more than 100 young women from Huntsville attending Spelman College, establishing the Bessie Washington Jones Scholarship in 1997, and sponsoring the Spelman College Jazz Ensemble Concert from 2009 for seven years.

Notes the chapter will present the Spelman College Glee Club on March 12, 2017, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Johnson to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Commends the Huntsville Area Chapter of the Spelman College National Alumnae Association for its opportunities and support provided to Spelman College students over the past 30 years.
