Commends Sergeant Donald Lee Giles of the Clanton Police Department for being selected as the 2016 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.

Recognizes Sergeant Giles' 16 years of faithful service to Chilton County citizens, beginning with the Chilton County Sheriff's Office in 2001 after graduating from the 6th Session of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Reserve Academy.

Notes that Sergeant Giles joined the Clanton Police Department in 2002 and currently serves as a shift supervisor in the Patrol Division.

Acknowledges Chief Johnny Keith Maddox's presentation of the 2016 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Medal to Sergeant Giles for his service and dedication to law enforcement.
