Judge Holley earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University in 1973 and a Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 1976, with additional studies at the National Judicial College in 1980 and 1982.

Professional career includes serving as private attorney (1976-1980), part-time Assistant District Attorney for 5th Judicial Circuit (1977-1980), Municipal Judge for Lanett (1977-1980), State District Court and Juvenile Judge for Chambers County (1980-2005), City Manager for Lanett (2005-2008), and private civil and criminal defense attorney (2008-2013).

Has served as full-time Assistant District Attorney in misdemeanor and juvenile prosecution from December 2015 to present, providing exceptional guidance and earning widespread admiration and respect.
