Commends Mr. Dan Bunch for exceptional professional achievement and service upon his retirement after 34 years at Boston College.

Mr. Bunch is a native of Lowndes County, Alabama, and 1972 graduate of Hayneville High School who earned both bachelor's and master's degrees from Boston College.

Served as Director of the Learning to Learn program since 1987, which assists first-generation college students, students with high financial need, and students with learning or physical disabilities.

Contributed to Boston College through advisory roles with the Black Student Forum, Black Staff and Faculty Association, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Scholarship Committee, and AHANA Alumni Council, and founded Concerned Black Men of Massachusetts.
