Mourns the death of Mr. Ernest George Moore, Jr., of Guntersville, Alabama, who died on December 28, 2016, at age 85.

Recognizes that Moore was born November 22, 1931, in Washington, D.C., served in the United States Army in Germany, and graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Notes that Moore retired from IBM in 1983 and was owner and founder of Browns Creek Sailboat Marina and served as a sailing instructor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Acknowledges Moore's survivors including his children Robert Ernest Moore and Jeanette Lynn Ogden, sister Lucille Moore Dettor, and other family members, and his active membership in Epiphany Episcopal Church.

Expresses the legislature's gratitude for Moore's life and offers condolences to his family and friends.
