Recognizes and honors Sergeant Larry Toland and Officer Zackary Davis of the Mobile Police Department, Corporal Pat Sanders of the Mobile Police Department, and Officer Clarence Adams of the Prichard Police Department as nominees for the 2017 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

Commends the four officers for their actions during an undercover narcotics operation on April 1, 2016, when they led an operation to apprehend a compound leader known as "Rider" in Mobile County.

Details that during the operation, "Rider" fired a Glock pistol striking Officer Davis in the abdomen and then fired on Sergeant Toland, Officer Adams, and Corporal Sanders from less than five feet away while wearing body armor and a motorcycle helmet.

States that Sergeant Toland, Officer Adams, and Corporal Sanders returned fire and incapacitated the suspect, then secured him and transported the gravely wounded Officer Davis to the hospital.

Directs that each officer receive a copy of this resolution as evidence of the House's admiration and esteem for their demonstrated courage and commitment to protecting residents.
