Commends the Troy University Men's Basketball Team for winning the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Championship on March 12, 2017, by defeating Texas State University 59-53 at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Recognizes the team's NCAA Division I status as a Sun Belt Conference member and their subsequent berth in the 2017 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Honors Head Coach Phil Cunningham for directing the 2016-2017 team to a 22-15 record, the most wins for the program since the 2003-2004 season.

Acknowledges individual player achievements: senior Jeremy Hollimon and sophomore Jordan Varnado named to the All-Tournament Team, and junior Wesley Person named tournament Most Outstanding Player.

Directs that the team receive a copy of the resolution as evidence of the House of Representatives' appreciation for representing Alabama in an exemplary manner.
