Notes that approximately 900,000 law enforcement officers serve at various levels of government in the United States, often at personal risk and in the face of danger.

Commemorates 140 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty nationwide in 2016 and over 20,000 names enshrined on the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Commends Alabama law enforcement officers for their service and sacrifice with heartfelt praise and prayers for their safe return home each day.
