• She was born May 23, 1945, to Isaac and Amanda Burroughs and was a graduate of A.L. Martin High School who worked as a Day Care Teacher.
• She was a member of the New Hope No. 1 Baptist Church in Alabama before relocating to New York and joining the Greater Hood Memorial A.M.E. Church.
• Her survivors include her son Michael Burroughs, granddaughters Dayanna and Audrina, four brothers, and multiple nieces and nephews.
• The House of Representatives records her death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to her life and with sympathy to her family.
