Commends Brandi Evans, a teacher at W.S. Harlan Elementary School, on being named to the Alabama Department of Education Superintendent's Teacher Cabinet.

Evans teaches fourth grade Alabama History and sixth grade English and holds certifications in English Language Arts for grades 6-12 and general social science for grades 4-8.

Evans was honored as elementary teacher of the year by the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce.

School Principal Joy Colvin praised Evans's educational background, mentoring abilities, and knowledge of legal aspects of education as assets to the school's leadership team and advisory committees.

The House of Representatives offers this resolution expressing admiration and appreciation for Evans's service and congratulating her on continued success in her new role.
