Commends UAH softball coach Lorraine "Les" Stuedeman on achieving her 1,000th career victory during the 2016-2017 season with a 13-6 win over the University of North Alabama.

Recognizes Stuedeman as the fifth active Division II softball coach and only the 34th NCAA softball coach across all divisions to record 1,000 career victories.

Highlights that during her 22-year tenure as UAH's only softball coach, the Chargers have competed in 19 NCAA tournaments including 14 consecutive appearances, won four South Region titles, and finished as national runner-up in 2009 and 2011.

Notes Stuedeman's additional achievements including nine Gulf South Conference Coach of the Year honors, eight GSC Championships, and inductions into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame, Huntingdon College Athletic Hall of Fame, and Vestavia Hills Sports Hall of Fame.

Directs the House of Representatives to present Stuedeman with a copy of the resolution congratulating her on this milestone achievement.
