Commends the members of the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the Southern District of Alabama for meritorious actions and service.

Task force was established in 2006 and partners the United States Marshals Service with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies in Alabama and Mississippi to apprehend violent felons.

Recognizes three specific operations: May 4, 2016 apprehension of armed suspect in Mount Vernon who shot a homeowner and 2-year-old child; January 29, 2016 apprehension of murder suspect in Citronelle; and December 9, 2015 apprehension of fugitive barricaded in Mobile attic.

Praises task force members for demonstrating courage, diligence, and quick response in life-threatening situations while minimizing collateral injuries through professional tactics.

Directs that members receive a copy of this resolution as evidence of the House of Representatives' admiration and esteem for their service.
