Recognizes the 94 deploying members of the unit, some of whom have been previously deployed, and acknowledges their voluntary service as defenders of the nation.

Notes that the 208th Chemical Company is commanded by Captain Kevin Ashley and is part of the Alabama National Guard, which has deployed approximately 23,000 soldiers and airmen in support of the Global War on Terrorism.

Expresses deepest admiration and appreciation for the unit's immeasurable service and offers sincere best wishes of safety and success during their deployment.
