Barbara Sue Alford Nobles of Montgomery, Alabama died on May 14, 2017, at the age of 67 years.

Nobles was a loyal employee of the Alabama Legislature for over 30 years, serving as a typist and proofreader for the Legislative Reference Service and in the Journal Room of the Alabama House of Representatives.

She is survived by her children Tammy Sue Nobles Cottingham, Carl Andrew Nobles (Amanda), and James Devin Nobles; four grandchildren; special friend Jimmy Davis; and other relatives and friends.

The House of Representatives of the Legislature of Alabama records her death with deep sadness and celebrates her life, character, and service to the state.

The resolution extends heartfelt sympathy to her family from the legislature and the community.
