Recognizes March 19, 2017, as a commemorative day in the City of Headland and Henry County for Greater Shiloh Baptist Church's groundbreaking ceremony for a new Worship Center.

Greater Shiloh Baptist Church was founded in 1867 as the Shiloh Colored Baptist Church of Headland and continues to serve the spiritual, social, and educational needs of individuals and families in Headland and Henry County, Alabama.

The church is celebrating its 150th year of existence in 2017 with current pastor Reverend Delvick J. McKay and has over 500 members engaged in vibrant ministries.

Honors and commends the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church, its members, and community supporters on the occasion of celebrating the groundbreaking ceremony and extends best wishes for the future.
