• Mourns the death of Thomas "Tom" Edwin Drake of Cullman, Alabama, who died on February 2, 2017, at age 86.

• Recognizes Drake's athletic career including an athletic scholarship to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he wrestled and played football, and his subsequent professional activities as a wrestler and head wrestling coach at the University of Alabama.

• Honors Drake's legal career, including receiving his law degree from the University of Alabama and practicing law in Cullman for more than 50 years.
