Hale County Commission may authorize the judge of probate to collect additional transaction fees: license tags ($5), motor vehicle titles ($2), mobile home titles ($2), driver's licenses ($1.50), duplicate driver's licenses ($1.50), privilege licenses ($25 flat rate plus section codes), and notary fees ($4).

Additional fees collected shall be paid to the county general fund with first priority given to funding pay increases for county employees.

Remaining fees after employee pay increases may be used for probate office operations or other county purposes as determined by the county commission.

The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
