• Establishes the Elder Abuse Protection Order and Enforcement Act to provide civil protection orders for victims of elder abuse age 60 and older.

• Defines elder abuse to include abuse, arson, assault, criminal coercion, trespass, emotional abuse, financial exploitation, harassment, kidnapping, menacing, reckless endangerment, sexual abuse, stalking, theft, and unlawful imprisonment against elderly persons.

• Authorizes guardians, conservators, powers of attorney agents, health care proxies, and other interested persons to petition for protection orders on behalf of elderly persons who lack capacity.

• Courts may issue ex parte temporary protection orders within 3 business days and final orders after hearing, with relief including stay-away orders, property protections, firearm prohibitions, and restitution.

• Violation of an elder abuse protection order is a Class A misdemeanor; second conviction carries mandatory minimum 30 days imprisonment, and third or subsequent conviction carries mandatory minimum 120 days imprisonment.
