Requires local school boards to include influenza disease and vaccine information whenever they provide health information to parents and guardians of students in grades K-12.

Required information must include descriptions of causes, symptoms, and transmission methods; sources for additional information; and recommendations from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

Directs the Department of Education, in cooperation with the Department of Public Health, to develop and make available influenza information to local school systems, including posting on its website.

Provides civil liability immunity to school board employees who comply with this section in accordance with Section 36-1-12.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
