AL SB29

Authorizes nonresident students aged 17-23 enrolled full-time at Alabama institutions of higher education to purchase resident hunting and fishing licenses at resident rates.

Eligible licenses include noncommercial resident hunting, fishing, or combination licenses issued under Chapters 11 and 12, excluding lifetime resident licenses.

Nonresident students purchasing these licenses receive the same privileges and pay the same fees as resident license holders.

Students must submit proof of nonresident status according to rules adopted by the Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
