• Sets the annual salary of the Russell County Sheriff at $105,000, paid in the same manner and time as other county employees.

• Salary is provided pursuant to Amendment No. 380 of the Alabama Constitution of 1901 and supersedes any other salary provisions in general or local law.

• Repeals Act 2012-539 from the 2012 Regular Session and all conflicting laws.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval, or when otherwise becoming law.
