Terminates adoption and implementation of Common Core Standards, also known as Alabama College and Career Ready Standards (ACCRS), in Alabama K-12 public schools.

Directs State Board of Education to replace Common Core Standards with prior courses of study: Math standards in effect until May 2011 and English Language Arts standards in effect until May 2012, to be known as "Transition Standards" for the 2017-2018 school year.

Requires State Board to update Transition Standards based on pre-Common Core standards that ranked in the top 10 percent nationally, with resulting "Alabama Ahead Standards" to begin in the 2018-2019 school year.

Directs termination of federal flexibility waiver agreement with U.S. Department of Education related to Common Core Standards and prohibits adoption of other national standards (including Next Generation Science Standards, History Standards, Social Studies Standards, or Sexuality Standards) that cede control of Alabama educational standards.

Grants any Alabama citizen standing to bring suit to enforce the act and prohibits state education entities from joining consortiums that would cede control of any aspect of Alabama public education.
